It's the start of Hal Jordan's training as a Green Lantern…and the Guardians of the Universe have selected Sinestro to be his teacher. But Hal's got a problem. He's serving a 90-day jail sentence by day while fighting alongside Sinestro.

Hal Jordan is sent to prison for driving under the influence and injuring someone. En route to prison he sneaks away to stop a bank robbery and arrives back just in time to get strip searched (this time he was wise enough to conceal his power ring). While in prison Hal is framed for the murder of his cell mate. Hal's caseworker Guy Gardner believes he is innocent and attempts to clear him of the crime. Meanwhile on Oa the Guardians of the Universe call upon Sinestro to train Hal.

    A Strait Laced Guy 0

I can 't stand Hal Jordan as a superhero.  He always seemed way to smug and holier-than-thou for a guy who goes to prison for injuring a man while driving under the influence and getting posses by Parallax.  I know not his fault.  Yeah right.  Anyway all that said this is a real good book and I gave it four stars.    Hal is actually charming and is put in some awkward spots.  He even makes a crack about the the United States judicial system.  There is also a strait laced pre-Green Lantern Guy...

    Emerald Dawn II 0

Green Lantern Emerald Dawn II: 90 Days picks up right where Emerald Dawn left off. Hal Jordan, taking responsibility for his actions, turns himself in and throws himself on the mercy of the court. Unfortunately the court has no mercy for him and he gets sentenced to 90 days in prison. But that's just the beginning, on his first day in prison he's framed for murder. Then he gets assigned two case workers that will change his life forever, Guy Gardner, by the state, and Sinestro, by the Guardians ...
