    Green Lantern battles Green Lantern and a new villain storms the scene. But what are his plans and what association does he have with a tiny, mysterious hooded figure? Plus, Guy Gardner's rage boils up!

    The Planet Daxam: Guy Gardner, Arias, Kilowag and Bleeze save a follower of Sodam Yat from being tortured by Diro Yat, Sodam's father. The heroes learn that Sodam Yat came back and is being hunted by his father. After some investigation the Green Lanterns learn that Sodam has taken thousands of his followers off planet, he has a Green Lantern Ring again and to the dismay of Arias, Guy orders them to leave Daxam as well and head to the Unknown Sector.

    Meanwhile, Sodam takes his followers to a nearby planet and gives them all Green Lantern type powers and tells them they are going to hold the Guardians of the Universe responsible for their actions.

    Rakk: Guy Gardner and his team stop a slave ring, but are attacked by some rookie Green Lanterns controlled by Zardor.

    The Good: The continued atrocities of Sodam Yat's horrible father and planet are always an interesting group to be explored. The entire idea behind the society of Daxam is always an interesting read. Sodam Yat's character development of his own is a huge surprise and a really interesting development. I absolutely can't wait to see where it leads. Guy Gardner's torture is fantastically hilarious.     Guy Gardner's task force intervenes in Daxam's politics, just as Sodam Yat is marshaling his cult into a force against the Guardians.   The Good It's an odd thing to say, but I appreciate how Tomasi's characterized Sodam's father, and Daxam's government in general, as stubbornly ignorant. Maybe it's because it's a refreshing counterpoint to the usual "holy natives" you encounter in alien stories, but I think the rest real reason is that this has a intriguing moral complexity to it.
